As the vice president of logistics and remarketing, Debbie Nieves is always tasked with unique challenges. Since 2003, Debbie uses her creativity to think outside the box while managing and remarketing all of ICON’s inventories. She was instrumental in successfully managing a program to remove products from over 5,800 retail coffee chain locations nationwide and was the only female manager overseeing the dismantling of the old Yankee Stadium. She also manages three ICON storage facilities.
Prior to ICON, Debbie spent 10 years working at RF International primarily working in the frozen foods sector with accounts including Tyson, Perdue, Mountaire Farms, Pilgrim’s Pride and ConAgra.
Debbie got started in logistics after high school. She took a part-time job working for an import export company while attending college. After earning her associates degree in business management from Housatonic Community College she attended an executive development program at Michigan State for supply chain, strategic sourcing and development. Debbie is a member of SCMA (Supply Chain Management Association).
