Employee Relations Manager

Liz Blaine joined ICON in 2017. As employee relations manager, Liz facilitates employee and management relations, on-boarding, benefits, payroll, employee engagement and professional development, off-boarding and also assists with recruitment!

Liz, who is extremely warm and relatable, always looks at situations from various perspectives to make well-rounded, fair decisions. In just two years, she has been promoted twice! Liz was instrumental in implementing ICON’s latest Paid Time Off (PTO) policy. She also helped, in collaboration with the HR and IT departments, to create the ICON PTO and timesheet tracking systems.

Liz’s passion for human resources began while attending the University of Connecticut where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. She was offered a human resources internship at the Hartford Marriott and hasn’t looked back. After college she spent three years working for Ann Inc. in associate services helping with payroll for the worldwide employees as well as benefits, employee relations and compliance.

Liz is an official PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and is a member of the Society of Human Resources (SHRM).
