Executive Vice President, Media Fulfillment & Strategy

Tom Telesco joined ICON with over 20 years of media experience working at the Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG) in New York. After graduating from the University of Connecticut, he immediately took a job working at McCann Erickson in New York City as a media planner – the rest is history! Tom was the youngest person in the history of McCann Erickson to reach group director level – at age 31!

Before joining ICON, Tom was executive vice president, managing director at Universal McCann.  While there, he worked on prominent accounts including L’Oreal, Unilever, McDonald’s, ExxonMobil and Verizon.  He also spearheaded the concept of communications planning architecture for the agency, which drove resulting strategies for many client partners.

In his position as executive vice president, media fulfillment & strategy, Tom applies his experience and expertise in business development/operations, client services and media strategy to help organically strengthen and grow ICON’s business relationships.

Tom, a Connecticut native, is thrilled to be back “home.”
